Cult Fighting in Massachusetts
An article that appeared in "Religion in the News" about what happened when Christian anti-cult "expert" Robert Pardon of the NEIRR influenced government agencies and the courts in the criminal investigation of a small religious group in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Although this article does not relate to us directly, it underscores how the Constitutional right to the free exercise of one's religion is in jeopardy when church and state join forces against unconventional religious groups.
